Comfortable clothing and a quiet place to practice are ideal. Yoga can be practiced anywhere at any time of the day or night. A morning practice is beneficial to prepare you for a new day filled with energy and focus. On the other hand, a practice in the evening helps to bring closure of the day.

Yoga Home Etiquette
The tranquil environment of Yoga Home, was created as a means to relaxation and communication with one’s self beyond the distractions of daily life. Allow the surroundings to inspire your outlook on health, inner healing and wellness. Clear your mind and rejuvenate your spirit. Yoga Home is a space for you. Please be mindful and respectful of others. The following etiquette will help in keeping the space a beautiful environment for everyone to experience and enjoy.
- Please turn off cell phones the moment you enter the studio.
- Class begins promptly. Please arrive 15min early to sign-in and change.
- Come on an empty stomach, refrain from eating 2-3 hours prior to class and drink plenty of water throughout the day.
- Proper attire are mandatory.
- Due to hygienic concern, please bring your personal yoga mat.
- Please be quiet in the yoga room. Refrain from loud volume conversation outside of class as others may be in meditation.
- Keep in mind that wearing perfume, using scented oil, having a strong body odor or even smoking a cigarette before class, may be not only disruptive but also harmful as people may have allergies.
- If you have any health concerns consult your doctor. Inform the teacher before class of any concerns or injuries.
Is Yoga for you?
Yoga is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. Anyone, irrespective of age, health and fitness can practice yoga. If you have any specific health problems, or if you are pregnant please discuss this before starting a class as adjustments to your practice may be necessary.
